1) ANJUNA FLEA MARKET Anjuna hosts the famous flea market every Wednesday during the peak season (October-April) which practically takes up the entire stretch of beach where you can purchase things ranging from fruits, clothes, jewelry, electronic devices and more such products.
2) SATURDAY NIGHT/BAGA BEACH MARKET This market takes place on Saturdays. Market opens only during the high tourist season on a large fenced area between the Arpora and Anjuna city resorts. The first season night market is usually arranged before the New Year, while the last one is organized at the end of April. Entry into the Saturday Nite Bazaar is free, business hours: from 4:00 p.m till 11:00 p.m.
3) CALANGUTE MARKET SQUARE The Saturday bazaar that is held in the Calangute Market square is near the post office. It boasts of a variety of good deals for shoppers. There is a Tibetan market in the center of Calangute. It offers all kinds of gems and silver work, wooden statues of the Buddha and other Hindu deities.
4) MAPUSA MARKET Mapusa Friday Market is a weekly market in Mapusa. It is located outside the Mapusa Municipal Market. The market is well known for its jewellery, pottery, spice, and carpet shops.
5) PANJIM MARKET Panjim market offers a variety of goods like wines, cashew nuts, local handicrafts and Goan spices. The market also has stalls selling clothes, bags, shoes, electronic gadgets, spices, flowers and sweets.
1) BASILICA BOM JESUS It is Located in Old Goa, around 10 kilometres east of Panaji, The Bom Jesus Basilica is a World Heritage Monument and perhaps Goa's most famous church and among the most revered by Christians worldwide. It is partially in ruins but still a model of simplicity and elegance, a fine example of Jesuit architecture.
2) SE CATHEDRAL DE SANTA CATARINA Also known as Se Cathedral, is the cathedral of the Latin Rite Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Goa and Daman. It is Located in Old Goa and the largest church in India. The Cathedral was commissioned by the Portuguese Viceroy, to be a church worthy of the wealth, power and fame of the Portuguese who dominated the seas from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
3) CONVENT AND CHURCH OF ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI It is a Roman Catholic church situated in the main square of Old Goa around 6 miles (10 kilometres) east of Panaji. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, together with a convent, was established by eight Portuguese Franciscan friars who landed in Goa in 1517. The original church began as a small chapel, which was modified to a church in 1521 and consecrated in 1602.
4) CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF MIRACLES The old church was built in 1763 and was in Zambaulim. The Sanguem chapel affiliated to the Parish Church of Zambaulim was blessed in 1853. In 1858, the Sanguem chapel was raised to the status of a Parish Church and the Church building was constructed. The structure was small and was known for many years as ‘Military Chapel’. Eventually a new church building was built in 1977.
5) CHURCH OF ST CAJETAN The Church stands opposite to the Se Cathedral. Its pattern is said to have been derived from the original design of the Basilica of St Peter in Rome. Built of laterite blocks and plastered with lime, the St Cajetan Church is an example of Corinthian architecture. The original name of the St Cajetan Church was The Church of Our Lady of Divine Providence. The St Cajetan Chuch was built by Italian friars of the Order of Theatines.
6) CHURCH OF MAE DE DEUS one of the most attractive and beautiful churches in Goa. It is one of the best example of churches in Gothic style of architecture. It is located at Saligao in Bardez Taluk in northern side of Goa. It is situated within 6 km from Mapusa, 10 km from Panaji and 3 km from Calangute beach. For Saligao village it is most important parish church. It was constructed in the year 1873 and believed to be 125 years old. It is fully enclosed with natural surroundings that add more beauty to this place.
7) HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH GOA The Church of the Holy sprit was first constructed in 1564 by the Jesuit missionaries. It was destroyed following the Muslim invasion of the Salcette in 1571 and construction was begun again only after the area had been firmly secured and after funds were raised. The Church of the Holy Spirit celebrates its Feast Day sometime in the final weeks of May.
8) OUR LADY QUEEN OF MARTYRS The church of Assolna according to the ‘Anuario da Arquidiocese de Goa e Damao’ (1955) was founded in 1616 on the ruins of a fortress on the banks of the river Sal. There is also a small Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and the church cemetery has an impressive façade.
9) St.PETER, PRINCE OF APOSTLES St. Peter's Church appears to have been built in 1543, at the expenses of the Public treasury. It was one of the eight parish churches of the old city of Goa. The church was declared a national monument in the nineteen thirties.
10) NOSSA SENHORA DE PENHA DE FRANCA CHURCH Nossa Senhora de Penha de Franca Is another beautiful church located in Bardez. With a high vaulted ceiling and beautiful interiors the Church simply looks amazing. The building of this church was made in 1826 and was entirely funded by a widow named Ana De Azvado, but within 26 years this building collapsed and was then rebuilt in 1655. This beautiful church was declared a national monument in 1932.

Canacona is the local railway station. Info: Agonda is a great spot for sunbathing, relaxing and swimming, with still relatively few tourists. Agonda is a nice long pristine stretch of beach. Though the waters here might not be the most ideal place for swimming. Stay in a simple hut right on the beach, and enjoy the stillness and nature. Agonda Beach is fast being discovered, however. Do expect to find some other tourists, souvenir stalls, and restaurants.

Info: Anjuna is world famous for its trance parties held on the beach during the tourist season. Info: Arambol, on Goa's far northern stretch of coastline, has become the new hippie haven. Arambol Beach is a traditional fisherman village, located approximately a one hour drive from the Dabolim Airport within the Pernem administrative region of northern Goa, India.

Baga Beach starts right where Calangute ends, although it's hard to pinpoint exactly where. The beach is a bit less crowded and better developed than Calangute. A wide range of water sports are on offer.

Goa Carnival is the most famous festival in Goa and has been celebrated since the 18th century. The origins of carnival can be traced to the ancient Rome and Greece. 10. GOA STATE MUSEUM
The State Museum is located in Panjim, which is the capital city of Goa. This museum complex is located in the EDC Complex in Patto and it was inaugurated by the then President of India on June 18th, 1996.
1. INDIA GATE It was originally called the All India War Memorial. the gate was built in memory of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I. The monument stands to a height of 42 meters. INDIA in bold letters is encrypted on either ends of the monument.
2. RED FORT The Fort derives its name from the huge walls of red sandstone that characterize the eight sides of the fort. The length of the wall is 2.5km and is 33m high. It was the residence of the Mughal emperor of India for nearly around 200 years.
3. JAMA MASJID It was built between 1644 and 1658 during the reign of Shah Jahan and is the largest mosque in India. There is a cupboard near the north gate of the Jama Masjid. It contains a collection of prophet Muhammad's relics - a red beard-hair of the prophet, Korans written on deerskin, his footprint and his sandals.

5. CHANDNI CHOWK It is the perfect place to shop and is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. it was Built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and the place is rumoured to be designed by his daughter Jahan Ara.
6. BAHAI (LOTUS) TEMPLE Baha'ism traces its genesis to its prophet Baha'u'llah, born in Persia in the twentieth century. The temple is somewhat similar in structure to the Sydney Opera House. A visit to Delhi is not complete without seeing this place.
7. HUMAYUN'S TOMB It was added to Unesco's World Heritage List in 1993. The tomb of Humayun was built by the orders of Bega Begum, Humayun's first wife and chief consort and the construction began in 1565, nine years after his death and was completed in 1572 AD, at a cost of around 1.5 million rupees at the time.

9. QUTUB MINAR The unique architectural structure of this monument attracts many visitors from all over the world. The construction work of Qutab Minar began in the 12th century and it was completed in the 13th century. It is made of red sandstone and marble. The stairs of the tower has 379 steps, is 72.5 metres high, and has a base diameter of 14.3 metres, which narrows to 2.7 metres at the top
10. GANDHI SMRITI It is a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and was formerly known as Birla House or Birla Bhavan. It is here, where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and was assassinated on January 30, 1948.

1. Elliot's Beach It is located in Besant Nagar. It forms the end-point of the Marina Beach shore and is named after Edward Elliot, the then Governor of Madras. It has Velankanni Church and Ashtalakshmi Kovil nearby.

1) Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens In English it means the Red Garden , It is a well known botanical garden in southern Bangalore. The garden was originally commissioned by Hyder Ali and later finished by his son Tipu Sultan. It has a famous glass house which hosts an annual flower show. Lal Bagh houses India's largest collection of tropical plants, It also has an aquarium and a lake and is one of the main tourist attractions in Bangalore.
2) Bangalore Palace It was Built in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar, It was inspired by England's Windsor Castle. This beautiful palace has Tudor style architecture, with fortified towers, arches, green lawns, and elegant woodcarvings in its interiors.
3) The Vidhana Soudha, It is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka. It is an imposing building, constructed in a style sometimes described as Mysore Neo-Dravidianand and incorporates elements of Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian styles.

7) Tipu Sultan's Palace and Fort It was originally built by Chikkadeva Raya in mud. Later, Hyder Ali started reconstruction in Indo-Islamic architecture. 8) Cubon Park Located in the heart of city, it is set on a 300 acre area, Cubbon Park is a great place to laze around in the lush green paradise. It has a treasure of different species of exotic plants. The park was named after the erstwhile Commissioner of Bangalore, Sir Mark Cubbon. Many ornamental and flowering trees, both exotic and indigenous, can be found in the park.
9) Bannerghatta National Park, It was founded in 1971 and it was declared as a national park in 1974. In 2002 a portion of the park, became a biological reserve, the Bannerghatta Biological Park.

1) Harmandir Sahib Also known as Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the "Golden Temple", it is a prominent Sikh Gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar. It was built by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ramdaas Sahib Ji, in the 16th Century.

3) Durgiana Temple It is a premier Hindu temple of Punjab. This temple derives its name from Goddess Durga and is also called by the name of Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
4) Summer Palace(Maharaja Ranjit Singh) It is royal and one of the beautiful place in Amritsar. There is a museum here created by the Maharaja’s name that holds beautiful, magnificent, historical oil paintings, coins, miniatures and instruments depicting Sikh age in the country. The palace is today a heritage palace of Amritsar.
5) Wagah Border It is the international border between India and Pakistan. Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border - between Amritsar and Lahore, is an elaborate complex of buildings, roads and barriers on both sides. The daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags.
6) Samadhi of Shravan It is one of the oldest heritage spots in Amritsar. It belongs to the Ramayana period. Legend has it that Shravan lies buried here after he was accidentally killed by the arrow of King Dashrath, the Lord of Ayodhya. The Samadhi is situated on the banks of an old rivulet (Purani Dhab ).
7) Khalsa College It is a historic educational institution in the northern Indian city of Amritsar in the state of Punjab. Founded in 1892, the sprawling 300 acre campus is located about eight km outside of the city center on the Amritsar-Lahore highway, adjoining Guru Nanak Dev University campus, to which Khalsa College is academically affiliated.
8) The Historical Banyan Tree( Shaheedi Bohr) This historical tree stands majestically in the Namdhari Shaheedi Samark against the majestic back drop of the northern boundary of Ram Bagh. Four Kookas were hanged from this tree by the British Government in 1871. The Kookas were hanged because they had reacted violently against the hawking of beef around the Golden Temple.
9) Ram Tirath It is located 11 Km West of Amritsar on Chogawan road, it dates back to the period of Ramayana, Rishi Valmiki's hermitage. The place has an ancient tank and many temples. A hut marks the site where Mata Sita gave birth to Luv & Kush and also, still extant are Rishi Valmiki's hut and the well with stairs where Mata Sita used to take her bath.
10) Ram Bagh It is an attractive garden, famed as the summer palace of the erstwhile Raja of Punjab, Ranjith Singh. This picturesque garden was formerly known as the Company garden and its name was changed as Rambagh by Ranjith Singh to commemorate his faith and devotion to the great sage, Guru Ram Das. This garden is a prototype of Shalimar Gardens at Lahore.
1) Triveni Sangam In Hindu tradition Triveni Sangam is the "confluence" of three rivers. Sangama is the Sanskrit word for confluence. The point of confluence is a sacred place for Hindus. A bath here is said to flush away all of one's sins and free one from the cycle of rebirth. A place of religious importance and the site for historic Kumbh Mela held every 12 years, over the years it has also been the site of immersion of ashes of several national leaders, including Mahatma Gandhi in 1948.
2) Allahabad Fort The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near its confluence with the river Ganges. It is the largest fort built by Akbar. In its prime, the fort was unrivaled for its design, construction and craftsmanship. This huge fort has three galleries flanked by high towers. In 1798, the Fort was captured by The East India Company.
3) Khusro Bagh It is a large walled garden, close to the Allahabad Junction Station, surrounding the tombs of Khusrau Mirza (died 1622), eldest son of emperor Jahangir, Shah Begum, Khusrau's mother (died 1604), a Rajput princess and Jahangir's first wife, and that of Princess Sultan Nithar Begam (died c.1624), Khusrau's sister.
4) Jawahar Planetarium It was built in 1979 and is situated besides Anand Bhavan the former residence of the Nehru-Gandhi family and now a museum. It is managed by the 'Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund' (estb. 1964), which has its headquarters at Teen Murti House, New Delhi.
5) Allahabad Museum It is known for its rich collection and unique objects of art, and is funded by Ministry of Culture. Ancient sculpture from Mathura, Bhumra, Jamsot, Terracottas of Kausambi; Rajasthani Miniatures; Paintings of Nicholas Roerich and those of the Bengal School of Art, autobiography of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru; manuscripts of well-known Hindi authors, .32 bore Colt pistol of Chandra Shekhar Azad and the 'Gandhi Smrithi Vahan' are some unique items among the collection in the museum.
6) Swaraj Bhavan It was owned by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 19th century, it has served as the ancestral home of the Nehru-Gandhi Family, Indira Gandhi was born here. In 1900, Motilal Nehru, a prominent lawyer, bought a palatial residence at 1 Church Road, Allahabad, for a sum of 19,000 Rupees. The house was in complete disrepair, extensive renovation work was carried out on this place.
7) Anand Bhavan It is a historic house museum. It was constructed by Indian political leader Motilal Nehru in the 1930s to serve as the residence of the Nehru family when the original mansion Swaraj Bhavan (previously called Anand Bhavan) was transformed into the local headquarters of the Indian National Congress.
8) Alfred Park/Chandrasekhar Azad Park It is a public park in Allahabad. It was built in 1870 to mark Prince Alfred's visit to the city, with an area of 133 acres, it is the biggest park in Allahabad. Originally and still famously the park is known as Alfred Park.
9) Someshwar Mahadev Temple It is an ancient temple dedicated to Shankar. Shiva is regarded as one of the primary forms of God. He is the Supreme God within Shaivism, one of the three most influential denominations in contemporary Hinduism.
10) Thornhill Mayne Memorial It was designed by Richard Roskell Bayne and the construction was completed in 1870, it is a remarkable example of Scottish Baronial architecture. It was funded by Commissioner of Allahabad, Mr. Mayne and was opened as a memorial to Cuthbert Bensley Thornhill. The monument has served as the house of legislative assembly in British era when Allahabad was the capital of United Provinces. In 1879, the Public library was shifted to the present premises at Alfred Park. It has about 75,000 books, besides a treasure trove of manuscripts and journals.
1) Gandhi Ashram, Sabarmati Timings: 8:30am - 6:00pm. This Ashram was established by Mahatma Gandhi on a stretch of the Sabarmati river in 1917, it is a very calm and soothing place. Gandhi Ashram is the most popular tourist place in the city. It is mostly visited by tourists due to its importance. It was from here, in 1930, that Mahatma began his famous "Dandi March" to the sea to protest against the Salt Tax imposed by the British. The ashram houses a museum, library, auditorium and photo galleries.
2) Kankaria Lake It is a circular lake constructed in 1451 by Sultan Qutubub-Din. Kankaria Lake’s length is 2.25 square km which is situated in the southern part of the city in Maninagar area. There is a popular saying that Kankaria lake of Ahmedabad was often visited by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir along with his wife Empress Noor Jahan. It is a great crowd pulling leisure spot. It is good place to hangout with family or friends. Here you get many modes of entertainment like, toy train, hot air balloon etc. Its really more colourful after evening with all its excellent lighting.
3) Sidi Sayed Masjid Location: Near Lal Darwaza. The mosque of Sidi Sayed is one of the most prominent mosques in the Ahmedabad city. The Jali screen windows represent the Indo-Saracenic styling, which is admired by people all over the world. Consisting of delicately carved windows, the mosque is known for its stone tracery. The construction work of the Sidi Sayed mosque was taken up in the last year of the Sultanate rule in Gujarat.
4) Swaminarayan Temple This Temple is the first temple of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, a Hindu sect. It is located in Kalupur area of Ahmedabad. People come from different parts of the country and congregate here in this temple to seek the blessings of the deity. Dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, the temple boasts of its exquisite wooden carvings.The Swaminarayan temple has been designed in a manner resembling the styling of a mansion. On the southern side of the temple, there are nine tombs, which are more popularly known as 'Nau Gaz Pir' or 'Nine Yard Saints'.
5) Auto World - Vintage Car Museum It is good place for car lovers. The museum has a cool collection of vintage cars and is the largest and the biggest automobiles collection . It has been developed and proudly nurtured by Pranlal Bhogilal.
6) Hutheesing Jain Temple This is the best known Jain temple in Ahmedabad and was constructed around the year 1848. The temple architect was Premchand Salat.The temple is dedicated to Dharmanatha, the fifteenth Jain Tirthankar.This remarkably elegant temple created out of white marble has been sacred to many Jain families, generation after generation.
7) Jama Masjid The mosque Jama Masjid is the most splendid mosque of Ahmedabad, built in 1424 during the reign of Ahmed Shah. Lying in the old party of city, the mosque is situated opposite to Mahatma Gandhi Road, on the eastern side of Teen Darwaza. Jama Masjid is a fine example of Indo Saracenic architecture, with the special touch of the Sultan himself. It presents an extraordinary blend of Hindu and Muslim styles of architecture.
8) Adalaj Vav Adalaj is a small village, situated at a distance of 18 km to the north of Ahmedabad. Vav means a step well. Adalaj Vav was built by Queen Rudabai, in 1499 AD.It is a place to see how water is conserved during past in a unique style. The well is made in different level. It has intelligent architect. It is five stories in depth. It is a cool place of attraction.
9) Jhulta Minara The Sidi Bashir Mosque is located in the city of Ahmedabad, due to its unique construction, the mosque is also called Jhulta Minar or Shaking Minarets.The mosque is located opposite the Ahmedabad Railway station and is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Ahmedabad. Entry to the shaking minaret was prohibited following an incident at Qutb Minar in Delhi, where a stampede resulted in many children being crushed.
10) Sabarmati riverfront The Sabarmati Riverfront Development Project is an initiative by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to develop the Sabarmati riverfront in the city of Ahmedabad.10.4 km stretch of walkway is open for public use. Water amusement rides including speed boat and motor boat are working between Nehru bridge and Gandhi bridge. Both walkway and rides were inaugurated by then CM Narendra Modi on 15 August 2012.
