1) Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens
In English it means the Red Garden , It is a well known botanical garden in southern Bangalore. The garden was originally commissioned by Hyder Ali and later finished by his son Tipu Sultan. It has a famous glass house which hosts an annual flower show. Lal Bagh houses India's largest collection of tropical plants, It also has an aquarium and a lake and is one of the main tourist attractions in Bangalore.
2) Bangalore Palace
It was Built in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar, It was inspired by England's Windsor Castle. This beautiful palace has Tudor style architecture, with fortified towers, arches, green lawns, and elegant woodcarvings in its interiors.
3) The Vidhana Soudha,
It is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka. It is an imposing building, constructed in a style sometimes described as Mysore Neo-Dravidianand and incorporates elements of Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian styles.
4) Ulsoor Lake
This lake is spread over an area of 125 acres. It was constructed by Kempegowda II. Boating and swimming pool are the great attractions of the lake.
5) St. Mary's Basilica
It is a basilica located in the Archdiocese of Bangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the oldest church in Bangalore and is the only church in the state that has been elevated to the status of a minor basilica.
6) HAL Aerospace Museum
It is India's first aerospace museum located at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited premises. It was established in 2001, the Museum is part of the HAL Heritage Centre and Aero Space Museum, and showcases the growth of the Indian aviation industry and HAL for six decades.
7) Tipu Sultan's Palace and Fort
It was originally built by Chikkadeva Raya in mud. Later, Hyder Ali started reconstruction in Indo-Islamic architecture. This was completed by his son, Tipu Sultan, in 1791. The Hindu temple seen in the courtyard of the fort is the proof of Tipu Sultan's religious tolerance.
8) Cubon Park
Located in the heart of city, it is set on a 300 acre area, Cubbon Park is a great place to laze around in the lush green paradise. It has a treasure of different species of exotic plants. The park was named after the erstwhile Commissioner of Bangalore, Sir Mark Cubbon.
Many ornamental and flowering trees, both exotic and indigenous, can be found in the park.
9) Bannerghatta National Park,
It was founded in 1971 and it was declared as a national park in 1974. In 2002 a portion of the park, became a biological reserve, the Bannerghatta Biological Park.
10) Bellandur Lake
It lies to the southeast of the city of Bangalore and it is one of the largest lake in the city. It is part of Bellandur drainage system that drains the southern and the southeastern parts of the city.
