Mughlai cuisine is a style of cooking developed in South Asia by the imperial kitchens of the Muslim Mughal Empire. It represents the cooking styles used in North India (especially Uttar Pradesh and Delhi), Pakistan,and the Indian city of Hyderabad. The cuisine is strongly influenced by the Central Asian cuisine, the region where the Chagatai-Turkic Mughal rulers originally hailed from. A Mughlai course is an elaborate buffet of main course dishes with a variety of accompaniments. Following is the list of top ten dishes from

1) Hyderabadi Biryani 
It is a biryani dish made with basmati rice, spices and goat meat. Hyderabadi biryani originated after blending of Mughlai and Telugu cuisine in the kitchens of the Nizam, rulers of the historic Hyderabad State. Hyderabadi Biryani is of two types: the Kachchi (raw) Biryani, and the Pakki (cooked) Biryani. 
 
 
2) Seekh Kebabs 
It is prepared with minced meat with spices and grilled on skewers. It is cooked in a Tandoor, and is often served with chutneys or mint sauce. 
 
 
3) Murgh Achaari 
Made with all the same spices that go into a pickle, this delicious dish goes well with chapatis (Indian flatbread), parathas (fried Indian flatbread) or naans (flatbread made in a tandoor or oven). 
 
 
4) Chicken Tikka  
The word tikka means "bits" or "pieces". It is traditionally small pieces of boneless chicken baked using skewers in a clay oven called a tandoor after marinating in spices and yogurt - essentially a boneless version of tandoori chicken. 
 
 
5) Kadhai Gosht 
It is a popular dish in wedding menus. A classic curry of lamb or mutton in a spiced yoghurt stock.The dish is traditionally both cooked and served in a wok-like dish called a kadhai. 
 
 
6) Badshahi Biriyani 
Mughlai food is known for its richness. It is famous for the exotic use of spices, dried fruit and nuts. This can be truly called the 'BAAP' of all biryanis. 
 
 
7) Malai Kofta 
It is a classic North Indian dish originated from the Mughlai cuisine. Malai refers to the cream and koftas are deep fried paneer and vegetable dumplings in rich and creamy tomato gravy. It is a rich dish perfect for parties and special occasions. It goes well with chapati, naan, jeera rice, all pulaos and parathas. 
 
 
8) Kulfi 
It likely originated in the Mughal Empire. It was prepared in royal kitchens using ice brought in from the Himalayas. This is documented in the Ain-i-Akbari, a detailed record of the Mughal emperor Akbar's administration. 
 
 
9) Badam Halwa 
It is a royal dessert fit for Kings. It is rich and delicious Indian sweet made with pureed almonds, ghee, sugar and saffron. 
 
 
10) Sheer Khurma 
It is a festival vermicelli pudding prepared by Muslims on Eid ul-Fitr.This dish is made from dried dates and milk.This special dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the Eid prayer as breakfast, and throughout the day to all the visiting guests.
